Live images of the Samsung Galaxy A55 and C55, also shared by TENAA
The A55 ran Geekbench with the upcoming Exynos 1480, which may or may not include AMD graphics. According to rumors, the phone will have an 8/256GB option as well as a microSD slot.
As for the Galaxy C55, we have more details about it (courtesy of TENAA). It will feature a 6.67-inch OLED screen (FHD+) with a 13MP selfie camera, a 50+8+2MP triple rear camera and a 5,000mAh battery. It's not yet clear how the C55 will differ from the A55, but the Galaxy A54 has a smaller 6.4-inch screen and a 12MP ultrawide camera, not 8MP.
The design of the Galaxy A55 is not surprising: Samsung phones look pretty consistent. However, the A15 and A25 introduced the so-called Key Island design, which is a raised area where the phone's side buttons (volume and power) are located. The A55 also has this feature, as we have seen in the renders but now also in the live photos published by TENAA.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 has the model number SM-A5560 and there is a related model SM-C5560 - that will be the Galaxy C55 (possibly also known as Y55).
Instead, the C55 could turn out to be closer to the Galaxy A35, which was also seen in live photos today. Samsung hasn't yet set an official release date for the Galaxy A55, A35, C55 and the rest of its mid-range offerings (there are also expected to be M-series phones).
